The purpose of this Blog is to disseminate information about the Hoelker family to those members who are interested in their ancestry. Franz Joseph Holker and Sophia Volgelsang founded the family on July 4, 1852 the date of their marriage at St Paulus Church in Cincinnati,Oh. In 1854 they moved to LaFayette, IN. In 1868 they moved to Oldenburg,IN. where the family remained until 2003 when the last member, William A., died.
